We are exhibiting next week at the Mobile World Congress, booth 7E55, partially thanks to the Top Catalan Innovation Award we obtained at the Mobile Asia Congress. At the exhibition, we will showcase our products, such as the mobile translator we have implemented for the organization, which is described at the congress page. Mainly, we will focus on two products, the domain adapted machine translation platform and the text-in-image recognition and / or translation.
Basically, our statistical machine translation technology, adapted to any language pair and vertical, can provide up to 40% savings in translation costs, as well as a significant reduction in delivery times, while maintaining a high quality (significantly better than any other machine translator). We have experience in several verticals such as news, medicine, IT, tourism, and a number of language pairs. In the mobile sector, this can be adapted to provide an excellent product for tourists, immigrants, or business people, through any interface including SMS/MMS, mobile portal, application, or e-mail, as we are already doing in several countries worldwide. On the other hand, our text in image recognition and translation allows people to take a picture of a text and have the recognition or translation back in a few seconds. This product, unique in the market, makes communication possible in countries such as China or Japan. Our technology increases the image quality, extracts the text from the natural scene image, and recognizes what there is written, to eventually translate it to the desired language. Although we are in beta, a significant number of images are being received every day coming from all the world! Some operators in Asia an Middle-East are integrating this solution into their portfolio.
